A PHOTOGRAPH

I am not a big fan of art in general, but I love nature and the chaos that exists in it, that's why my favorite photograph is from the Calbuco volcano in the south of Chile.

This picture was captured by the photographer Francisco Negroni on April of 2015, when Calbuco volcano erupted. For this picture, the photographer won the award in the “Natural Beauty” category of the Italian Siena International Photo Awards 2018.

This photograph is so imposing that it causes fear. Nature is amazing and this picture show us that we must respect it. The rays, the volcanic lava, the fire and the great cloud of ash and smoke looks like something out of an end of the world movie like "2012" or "Armageddon". Also, the night makes the photo even more amazing, the colors of the volcano get much more evident.

Volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and tsunamis are samples of what our planet is, something very beautiful but that must always be respected and cared of.
